Camper

Farmhouse
Completed many renovations and upgrades to the 1840’s farmhouse. Patched and painted many rooms, renovated several bathrooms and installed two chimney liners for soapstone stoves. Wired new ceiling lights, replaced ductwork and reassembled stone porch. Dug trenches with backhoe for new water and power lines. Managed contractors who conducted an energy audit, installed insulation in attic and others who painted the exterior of the house. I run the space as a farm stay and event rental business called Open Farmhouse.

Carriage House
1000 sq ft gut renovation of an old carriage house. I designed and built out the majority of the project. Pulled permits and managed the entire build. Demolished old work and installed new joists, subfloor and some wall framing. Worked with licensed electrician to install wiring. Installed all supply and drain plumbing. Managed contractors who installed spray foam, ducted heat pump and drywall. Installed hardwood floors, farmhouse kitchen and doors. Tiled curbless shower and put down Schluter radiant floors in bathroom. 100% electric build.

Farm & Landscape
Living on a farm has always presented a variety of projects, including retrofitting a greenhouse, building a walk in cooler and installing a service kitchen in the farm stand. Also built animal pens and fences, cut down trees and made hay. Operated tractors for field and forest work throughout 300 acre property. Additionally, I have been contracted to install bathrooms, fences and other projects.
